Delilah Panio is the Vice President of US Capital Formation for the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange. She travels around the US discussing the options available to high growth companies looking to IPO on a US exchange, in particular, the benefits of going through the Canadian Capital Markets. She explains that the biggest reason to go public on the Canadian market is to maintain control of the company, with only 20% of the company being floated in the public.

The Canadian capital markets have been around for centuries and have diversified to include technology, life sciences, and more. Additionally, the Multi Jurisdiction Disclosure System adds the convenience of using the disclosure documents from the Canadian market when applying to the US exchanges.

Delilah Panio is the Vice President of US Capital Formation for Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange, She advises U.S. companies on the opportunity to list and raise capital on the Canadian capital markets. She was named in the 2019 Top 100 People in Finance. 

Delilah is the founder of Fortuna Funding, she provides practical and intentional guidance on accessing aligned capital… from bootstrapping to IPO. Passionate about helping women entrepreneurs access the right capital, Delilah created the proprietary Fortuna Funding Framework for female founders to develop their ideal funding strategy.

She is also the Executive Director and Co-Founder of We Are Enough, a non-profit that educates women on why and how to invest in women-owned businesses and/or with a gender lens.

She is a frequent speaker and pitch competition judge and coach, and she has recently partnered with UBS and SheEO on Project Female Founder. Delilah is an Activator for Coralus (formerly SheEO) and led the 2016 US launch in Los Angeles for this global financing vehicle for female and non-binary founders.

She is currently an Advisory Board Member for MAPLE Business Council (a trade organization between Canada and Southern California), Chair of the Funding Committee for Women Leaders of Octane, and Advisory Board Member of We Global Studios (an innovation studio for women entrepreneurs).

Her background is as a capital markets expert with 10 years previously in business development at Toronto Stock Exchange, including as the Director, Business Development & Strategy. She has advised many companies on the going public process and can provide an understanding of private and public financing options in Canada and the United States. 

She holds an MBA in Enterprise Development and a BA in English and has completed a certification as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner.
